Em5 ii

so far anyone come across any third party grip yet? the original one is just too expensive..

It's expensive because it as electronics and a headphone port.

actually i am refering to its original non-electronic metal grip ecg2.. which is expensive (cost more than the hld8)..

hopefully some third party ones will be made available soon..

wondering if my camera is a bit faulty or is it normal for starup to seem a bit laggy?

still learning the controls of the camera

took a couple of shots using scene mode.. pics look kinda muddy, though I did limit the iso to 800, not too sure if this applies to the scene modes as well

Looks like the effect of aggressive 'noise reduction'

you're absolutely right.. a little bit of grain or noise couldn't hurt

what happened was the camera took about 3-4 shots and overlay them on top of another (presumably), which could also partly contribute to this result

Does the Movie "Crop" diff when use toggle between the IBIS Mode 1 & Mode 2 ?

haven't tried, though i'd think mode 2 would crop less since it's just the image stabiliser at work without any software help

playing around with the EM5II's high resolution function for close ups ;)

BTW there's a new firmware for EM-5 MII, improvements in Hi Res shot performance.

I'm still awaiting for RAW camera support in LR (apparently LR6 will be released next week??)

Yeap, haven't gotten to update it yet but I realized the delayed shutter for the high res shot and a super steady tripod is a must for high res shots.
