Lynx spiders have keen eyesight and are agile hunters, and are usually found amongst low shrubs. Much like cats they leap and run in active pursuit of their prey. They are easily recognised by their eye arrangement in which six of the eight eyes form a hexagon. Their long legs are armed with nearly erect spines.

'Guang Jiang' - turnip rolls - a traditional homemade teochew delicacy for the Chinese New Year. Made of grated turnips, carrots, peanuts (fresh or fried) and sometimes with meat, mixed with plain rice flour and a little tapioca flour, and wrapped in thin soya bean base skin wraps, this delicacy can be eaten plain or deep fried ;p yummy
