today's experiment ...

220606 - Sound 4

Bro, not joking with my last post lar, know the shoot set up but forgot the digital work flow especially when doing more than 1 colour. :sweat: :sweat:

actually very simple lah

setup
to be done in enclosed room with little/no air movement.
a small light may be used to light up the smoke for focussing.
smoke is lighted by externally triggered flashlight unit.
opaque cardboard is used to prevent flash from lighting up the background if
the black background is of a material which cannot effectively absorb light.

PS
left - original file is processed to remove 'excessive' strands of smoke
right - picture is inverted (ctrl+I or Image>Adjustments>Invert

to alter colours, just play with the colour balance (ctrl+B or Image>Adjustments>Colour Balance)
