***note: link to more potential poison ahead. proceed at your own risk! ***

Thanks to Jeffery who first posted pictures of this camera here :D

I happened to be surfing ebay and found a link to the manufacturer of the 8 Banner Pinhole cameras.

http://www.8banners.com

jeffery: since u do have the cameras...do you think the price online is reasonable?

Must request to change this section to be called 'Poisongraphy'

The owner of the company is the chairman of the China Pinhole Photography Committee (CPPC). Like the pinhole photo club of China....they got members of 4000.

They recently did a book for their exhibition in the Ping Yao photo convention in China lately in 15 Sep 06. great convention. Should show u all the book he gave me during the convention..... make u drool.....

And also, I bought 2 of the 5 cameras he brought along to the convention.....too heavy to bring all back. The 4x5 pinhole cam is the ultimate toy to own.....if not for the fact that medium format film is hard to find in Singapore, I would have grab that set from him there. The box containing the 4x5 pinhole has been done up to be a 8x10 pinhole cam as well. So, it is like buying 2 pinhole camera with one set. But quite a big investment at about S$480.

I calculated with him to see if we can ship it back to Singapore if I order direct from him but the shipping will be just too much to be sensible to order it. So, if I am in China the next time, we will see how many I can bring back this time.....Any orders...haha!!!Hate me.....giving all of you poison apples.....hahaha

Hint, Nic Ong of TCW forced me to sell one of the set (the full metal one) to him....so, he has the showcase piece for Singapore now. I shan't tell u all who has the other teak one version which I brought back.....haha....Guess...guess....you have to find the other owner from Circle of Light.....

BTW, I running a feedback session on a photo event that COL is planning to do next year. see the exhibition subforum and kindly give your comments there or at the COL forum. Thanks in advance. Bros, support your fren here a bit leh....

4x5 is cool...but yea...investment abit huge.

Which u think is better......6 x 6....or the multi-format 6x12?

the multi format one is definitely more woo hua....becos the same camera can take different format....6x12, 6x9, 6x6 & 645. Just need to adjust the setting inside the camera. better than buying the 6x6 which can only shoot in 6x6 & 645 only. Anyway, the price difference not significant enuff to warrant down buying to a lower model.

I can feel Vortex coming to the dark side.....haha!
