I think this lens is not available in Singapore, but does anyone know the approximate price of this lens?

good for beginners because it covers such a good range. then expand the system from there.

thats what i was thinking exactly. don't really think i should get a 70-200 just yet. the range of 55-250 with IS and USM suits me just fine...
