The 15-85 is an awesome lens. It takes great picture, fast in auto-focusing and IMO the build quality is good. Is there really quality issues with it? :think: Definitely worth buying it! :thumbsup:
hey auden, I tried putting my camera vertically yesterday and turn to 50mm. There is zoom creep! During the 5 tries, the lens drop to around 25mm 2 times but quite slow compared to the video of the nikon lens.

On the 17-55, there is initial resistance when moving from 17mm onwards, after which it becomes quite light to zoom. Probably this keeps from zoom creep happening. Is that the case with the 15-85? Usually most people keep their lens to the shortest when moving about between shooting locations.
