EF 35mm f1.4L , anyone using this lens?

Just gotten the lens today and i must say it the wisest choice i have made. It really Boomz!
Perfect combi for my 5Dm1.

Buy what you need... and what you will shoot with most...

If you do not know... I recommend that you should not buy yet... but to rent and try it out....

these 2 lenses are so different in nature...........i have both and the macro is purely for work. it can't perform what 35 does and 35 can't perform what it does.

like what halfmoon says hold it...100L is cheap abt 1.3k..the other is almost 2k...buy both is abt 3.3k

best walk about lens to me is a 24-55mm prime lens with good DOF/boke capabilities

Personally i feel that if you use the 35L on a 1.3x or 1.6x, becomes a slightly uncomfortable range to use...

imo, i think 35mm is a brilliant focal length.

use it on a full frame, and you get a wide 35mm; or pop it on an aps-c, and you still get a somewhat familiar ~56mm.
