The only photo recovered from last weekend's mishap. Well, we must be thankful for what we can get!

Precious! Now i can see why your heart aches!

Oh you bet... Best part is I can see the thumbnail but no RAW program can open it..

So this morning I went back to hunt sunrise again.. Luckily not bad too. :bsmilie: So the heartache is lessened a little.

Been through that twice. I know that feeling. Glad your pain is lesser now!

Wow. This is absolutely amazing! Great stuff.

Trying a new Haida ND8 filter from Photosphere. I'll probably post up a short review of the filter soon. First impression - no color cast (or at least Auto WB isn't affected by its use, meaning even if there is it's easily correctable). The filter is so slim... I think for people looking to stack a circular filter + slot-in GND system (e.g. Cokin P series), it's a viable option that probably won't introduce vignetting. The P series filters are a lot smaller and each GND will cost a lot less than the full size filters.. Anyways, I don't do that anymore. :)

Waiting for your review.

Finally went to this location today. 5 frame vertical panorama, with 3 exposures each frame.

Sunday's beautiful sunrise. My blood literally froze when the skies started to light up. Luckily they lit up long enough for me to do this 4 frame HDR panorama (3 exposure each frame) with Haida ND8 filter used to smoothen out the reflections. I'm no brand fanatic but the output from Pentax really shines in these situations.

looking at your consistent high quality photos, one can get accustomed.
text and stories behind the photos remind me that this is not just being there and pressing the shutter.
:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Here's one shortly after #520. Decided to include more of the bottom for this one. The clouds were just right for this sort of view.. Luck's been good recently. Can't say I'm complaining. :)

Yep you've been getting some killer colors recently and the last 2-3 days have seen some nice sunsets / sunrise. Here's to more great colors and fruitful forays!

Fantastic light and well captured my friend!

Checking out a new vantage point after scouting it out after the sunrise on Sunday.. The light was not optimal tonight, will be back again. :)
