Hi, I think I saw you at Labrador Park today. Merry Christmas, and have a great week ahead.

Ah, you were with your friend?

There was no sunset today.. But well, I'm more than thankful these days for any time I have to shoot.

Merry X'mas to you too!

Yeap, I was in flip-flops and my friend was in army fatigues. Nice seeing you in action, cheers!

When you were shooting #30, what were you thinking then... Just a single rock, with the strong spot light and lots of element from the bridge, I would normally turn away because I can't read this composition. Your thoughts and advice please. Thanks.

Hi uncle WK,
thanks for the reply. At first glance, it did not really work out for me because I could not really read or see the composition comparing to #32. Taking a second look at it, my thought was that the spotlight reflection was an important part. Meaning the eye will see the rock leading to the reflection and to the subtle movement of the clouds at the upper frame. I have not been to this place and perhaps a landscape framing may work but I always understand the situation that you are in when shooting seascape which many don't realize how tough it is.My problem is whenever I come to such situation and you know me, I will start to clone things off to re-compose ( a bad habit I think)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and of course, I learn something here already...

#34, is really amazing.. the swirls really draws you into the frame...

Edutilos, I like the spiral one too. It's simple and it works to the way it supposed to be. From how I look at it in my perspective it looks like a musical note. :)

Anyway for #35, did you used a hard grad for this? I think it would be better if the sky of the horizon was lighter. I feel the tonality of the sky is a bit much though, I would try to blend the tonality of the sky and the water together to look as though the same if a horizon is present. (especially on the left side) Great work nonetheless!

This has got to be the best take I have seen of the Art Science Museum logo. Have always wondered if anyone could capture this in 1 frame. Say how did you get the crowds away? :)

Earlier version of #22 with deeper colors.

I love the still reflection, but the walkway and LV interrupted with the buildings. Nice but messy. If only...
Still, I love to see you finding new perspectives.

#34 is awesome. Think I've seen #32 before, did you title it "bowler hat" or is it my imagination ? ha ha ha...

Agree with emlee, very nice to see you finding new perspectives. That calls for a very good eye. Keep up the good work and share with all of us.

Cheers.
