Maybe its just me, but I did felt a bit of discomfort when seeing a path cut in part. Nothing technical, just a personal feeling. Maybe it is really just me. :bsmilie:

Hi nitewalk, my intention was to evoke a sense of disquiet amidst the serene looking environment... I titled this "Pensive" because I don't know... When I looked through the viewfinder at the scene and composed it, the place was so still yet it was as if there was something amiss, something just waiting to occur. I'm not sure if that's the feeling you get, but that's the feeling I get. Anyways, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Through your comments, it evokes me to think that our intention and the viewer's feelings do indeed differs from preferences and experience. I do understand your intention actually. just that somehow my eyes were led to the end of the path at the water and wondered about how the other side of the path looks like. Very layman thinking. Hahah.

i like the framing of #256. Though this is done many times, but somehow this framing is refreshing. the lighting is also well handled.

What I noticed was how neatly the lines are all aligned and the contrast between the still and the moving. I like that.
