Vaguely remembered it was mentioned by the mods before - editing of B/S post is not allowed so as to ensure the integrity of the thread. Threadstarter can amend the contents of the earlier posts by posting updates (via the 'reply' feature). Correct me if I'm wrong.

there's a loophole. i've seen some posts in B/S being altered, edited. how is this possible?
and, they are not done by moderators or admins.
