Edit or delete own post

can the admin clarify why the owner on the post cannot edit ot delete the message he/she posted??

I try to edit my own msg but it goes to a page saying that I am not authorise to edit... pls explain :what: :what:

this is very embarassing.. I send a message meant to be as PM...but.I.didn't.realise.its.a.post.on.the.thread...and.I.can't.delete.it.... :dunno: can.do.it.on.a.case.to.case.basis?...........
