Actually I was doing sunset at changi broadwalk the other day and the sun was right in front from the bridge. Which means to say if sun rise, it would come from behind and therefore u won't be capturing any sun unless u just want to shoot the pretty colored clouds and surroundings, ya...

Hi, if it's not sunrise then what's the plan fr the day? Shoot around that area? I'm thinking if not sunrise then probably sunset would be a good idea

Outing on 18/Jul is meet at 8am (so no sunrise). then, maybe some makan and then go pulau ubin.
If you want sunrise shooting, you can privately arrange with pinky and kopi-soh..
just send her a nice PM to ask..

Didn't know of this Easties thread until now!! A great Hello to all east-side dwellers! Don't we just hate the fact that some beautiful places that are located in the north/west area? lol~
Oh yes, regarding the 18th July outing, seems like a perfect idea to just head down to the coastal walk area to do a sunrise shoot. Since I didn't do well during the previous attempt, maybe can try again

Are you aware that in the thread listing page, there's a small "envelop" beside the thread title.
Click on it and it'll teleport you to the 1st unread post in that thread.
So you wouldn't be lost in the CS East snapper thread jungle..

haha, no sunrise la. Changi Broadwalk no sun to shoot at sunrise de. :nono:
only got sunset to shoot. And also, not good idea to camp there overnight because of some "reasons"
Anyway, correct lor, 8am still shoot what sunrise, haha. Eat and go ubin walk walk.
Sunrise/sunset can try Bedok Reservoir, haha! I think sunset better at reservoir, because its towards the quarry side, the pile of sand.. Anywhere along the paths can give u a good view, or if u want to face the sun directly, u can stand at the legal fishing area there, provided that the day is not cloudy la.. Then.. for sunrise, best view i think u need to climb up the slope at the PUB station there, quite high.. and u can catch a very good view.

haha, got private some more. Actually im always aiming at Bedok Reservoir(sunrise/sunset) or Bedok Jetty(sunrise only) *anytime* up to my mood, go take pics. But abit weird to post on Gatherings/Outings, coz it needs to depends on the day/clouds actually.
If anyone keen to join me or stay nearby, can PM me. I stay exactly in between these 2 places, haha! But take note that im quite random and it also needs to depend on the day/weather/clouds, yup yup. If u'r game, then i welcome u :sticktong

Yes, I agree Bedok Reservoir has a nice sunset against the hill but only when there isnt much cloud cover.

In fact i was there yesterday. Was on the way home and decided to take a chance at it since i had my equipment.
End up, it was super cloudy and the sunset was barely visible. All there was were groups and groups of foreign workers sitting along the grass patches, keep looking at me like alien, haha!

I live facing the reservoir. Can jio ppl if I'm at home and I happen to notice a possibly nice sunset at the reservoir. Fall-in time takes around 40 min for anti-pink, caiwj and limsgp on last min notice, 1.5 hr for sfoto100 though... Hahahahaha...
