Yes it is. I've smsed you already.

Anyone else wanna go, please drop by. Can contact me or MJ.

Thanks.

There is another Ubin meetup by the Newbies group (which I also join their meetups) and they are going to Chek Jawa on 15th March.

Thread is here : http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=351787

So it's either we go on our own or we tag along with them? What say everyone?

Chek Jawa may be a nice place to shoot. Given the date (15th), I may just be able to make it since just finish reservist the day before.

Nice meeting you guys today. Thanks for sharing :)

i think we should do that as often as possible, coz based on my observation last night, we have alot to learn from each other.

hope to see you again soon.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Agreed. We will be planning for more TCSS sessions.

Shall I arrange for one next Friday, 29 Feb 2008? Same place at Tamp Mall Mc Donald?

ah no no. theres no need for that. haha. wont be able to join in 29th feb tcss.
but i might be joining in e 2nd march ubin trip

The details are as follows. Please add in your ID to the list.
2nd Outing:
Venue : Pulau Ubin (may cycle or walk or hire van - so take note what bags/equipment to bring)
Date: 2nd March
Time : 9am at Changi Village Jetty
1) irahaz
2) majujat
3) lukesky
4) engrmariano
5) Vincent (99%)
6)
7)
8)
9)

Lukesky "think(s) cycling is the best way around the island because we can cover the most distance and we have the flexibility to go to those smaller tracks where the vans cannot reach and we can stop wherever we want. So we'll assume everyone can cycle, those who can't please state it so that we can plan for tandem bikes."

We can fill in the details along the way. Traveling by bicycles when we are in PU is the current option. Any one has a different suggestion?

Things to consider in the details:
1) Meeting point
2) What happen if there are latecomers
3) Equipment (cam, lenses, bags etc)
4) Attire
5) Food/drinks[/QUOTE]

Hi Zack / Lukesky,

Can we change the meeting point earlier than 9am. Maybe 7 or 8 am. Any idea what time the boat is leaving CV jetty?

Anyone else who is joining us to PU, please add your name into the above list. Thanks.

Alright, I've change the time to 8 am. And I've added Lukman in the list since he said he might be able to go (just taking the liberty, Lukman)

Hi Zack. Good idea. We got to arrange another coffee session at Tampines MC D on 29 Feb, 8pm to discuss PU outing. Hopefully more East Shooters will turn up.

wow 8am! lucky i stay nearby man, else need to wake up very early!

Anyway chek jawa low tide is at 1.30pm. So that's the best time to go but it'll be really hot though..

Things to consider in the details:
1) Meeting point - I think we can meet at Changi Village itself at one of the stalls in the market, then at least can have breakfast while waiting.
2) What happen if there are latecomers - As from the last meetup, I find east shooters quite punctual, which is good. Maybe wait for half hr?
3) Equipment (cam, lenses, bags etc) - Insect repellent (I think it's a must to bring, but can share), sunblock, hat, comfy walking shoes, sunglasses if u wana look cool while shooting :)
Then the rest of the cam stuff are standard I guess depending on whatever u wana shoot. But don't bring so many things till u can't ride properly.
4) Attire - Up to u I guess, I'm wearing tee n berms and sandals.
5) Food/drinks - Bring enough water.. i think 1L is minimum if not more.. there are some drink stalls scattered along the island though..
6) Transport on Ubin - Basically 3 ways. Walk, ride or van. Van is $2 per trip, walking is free, bike I think $2 also have but lousier type of bike.
