Yes you are right, the place that I have indicated is more for coffee session.
The Macs in Bedok are quite empty at night. If for coffee session Bedok Mac will be quite easy to find seat. Only problem is everytime mac making me :faint:

Tentative outing:
Venue - Pulau Ubin (may cycle or walk or hire van - so take note what bags/equipment to bring)
Date: 24th Feb / 2nd March
Time : 9am at Changi Village Jetty
1) irahaz
2) majujat (2nd March preferred)
3) lukesky (2nd March preferred,24th Feb busy)
If sufficient response (at least 6) then we can plan the details of the outing.
I think cycling is the best way around the island because we can cover the most distance and we have the flexibility to go to those smaller tracks where the vans cannot reach and we can stop wherever we want. So we'll assume everyone can cycle, those who can't please state it so that we can plan for tandem bikes.

Now we have three. ANymore? That's a good start at least. We can fill in the details in slowly along the way. We can still use the cycling idea (with the use of tandem for non-cyclist).
Things to consider in the details:
1) Meeting point
2) What happen if there are latecomers
3) Equipment (cam, lenses, bags etc)
4) Attire
5) Food/drinks
6) etc
