Me putting both Oly XD and one CF in my e510
E-510..can use xD and CF card at the same time?

yah I agree! that's what I was hoping for and its as I hoped for!
Only thing is can the battery last so long.
that's the beauty of vertical grip,with Ownuser's grip,can put 2 batts,lol

On day shots on default settings, I have taken about 1400 shots over 3 days before the battery died on me. I think that covers more shots than the 6G of memory unless you are shooting in low quality jpegs.
1400 shots is excellent battery life. Is that using 2pcs BLM-1 with the grip? :think:
Depends on what part of the world you're from as you don't have your location information filled in!
Anyway, whatever you do DON'T buy memory cards on eBay...95% of the Sandisk ExtremeIII cards sold on eBay are COUNTERFEIT...I just had to tell another person today on DPReview that they had bought a counterfeit card:

Also CP quote S$68.00 for RM1.
Looks like most of the photography shop will try to squeeze $$$ if not sure abt the price before hand.
Two weeks ago AP ripped me $40.00 more FL36 and EX-180 Lowepro bag
FYI, I bought Oly xD M-type 2GB from Best Denki Parkway, 3 weeks ago, at $78.
It is for "standby" capacity in case my CF 2GB (primary storage) gets full.
Don't know the CF ExIII w/card reader price.

serious?wth?i remember that i got my 4Gb Extreme III card at cp,cheapest i could find,but they quoted me 75bucks for RM1

For RM1, CS resource at 4/3's quote SG40.00. Dont know where can get RM1 at this price?
probably,i think i got mine about the same price as they quote you,and that sales guy throw in a Extreme III card reader worth about 50,still ask if i dun want the card reader,can slash of 20 bucks off the card,i took the card reader anyway,lol,no idea where to get RM1 at that price either,trying to look for one,lol

i am also looking at getting a 4gb CF card, either extreme 3 or ultra 2...
where do you recommend to buy it from? prices?
RM1 is the wireless remote control from Olympus,no particular places to recommend,but had good experience from CP,HN,shops in sim lim some abit crappy,prices not too sure
