yup that's right. the E-300 wasn't very popular to begin with. the E510 would be a much stronger contender.

The E-500 was popular. No grip.

The 510 probably will be popular, but still no grip.

If we're lucky the 510 *may* sell enough units for a third party to fabricate one, but I won't hold my breath.

Well, they did that experiment with amateur bodies with the grip for the E-300.

Just do what Nikon do with D80,make a grip for it even sales is not good.Not every user will buy the grip but there are people who want a bridge cam until E Pro or wait for Exx with this camera.

different people like different things for different reasons. grips is one of them and not because of a particular model that was not selling well because of it.:nono:

i like my ex-e300 with grip better than those models without grip. it makes it easier to hand hold, shoot easier in lower shutter speed and makes me looked more pro even if i am bad in photography!

That's definitely true! Image really helps especially if you intend to go into photography business....of course no denying the fact its your skills and result that matters but by looking professional it will differentiate you and other amateurs during lets say...Actual Wedding....so, it will help to sell as well...
