what's ur dry cabinet humidity like? dun scared me leh...maybe go gaffer that part first:think:smtan24 said:No. I suspect that it may be because i put it in a dry cabinet and the adhesive may have worn because of that.

What I did was, cleared off all the double sided tapes on both the rubber and the camera. Then cut to size (almost) of the 3M Super Heavy Duty double sided tape (around 0.5mm in thickness), and it's now back in place although it's slightly thicker than it used to be. But it's fine for me.![]()
Will be interested to know if this is cover under warranty and how long for SONY to get it fixed. :dunno:
So when shooting hot ladies, the rubber will fall off :sweat:Ecclesiasm said:it melts when the shoot gets too hot...lol
That's pretty extreme yah? My 7D also gets rather hot but so far no such experience thankfully... but then I dun get in so many shots as I dun shoot often...Ecclesiasm said:it melts when the shoot gets too hot...lol

I did the same thing you suggested but finally lost the piece whilst in action at Jln Besar Stadium. Still using the FZ10 without that piece, though.![]()
Trigger Happy said:mine slipped the first time i used it, noticed that there was leakage of the adhesive, thought maybe i was holding the camera too tightly. its ok now, although i suspect it slides a little once in a while. anyone tried something like superglue instead of ds-tape?
