Dynax 5D RAW file size

Met with some CS user and we were talking of RAW file size. I found that the RAW file for my Dynax file is 8-9Mb. Is this small for raw files. Are other brands having larger RAW files?

the RAW file is uncompressed ones.

hope Sony can come out with some lose-less compressed RAW file, imagine 6MPixel's RAW is already 8-9Mbytes, 10MP will be around 14-15Mbytes, imaging the load on the writing time and storage :sweat:
