Today I tired playing with the Sony UX7E. Took 2 clips about 1min each on my mini-DVD-RW took about 10mins to finalised the DVD. Put it on a Sony Blue-ray player, cannot play. Try on a Pioneer Blue-ray (that one that cost 2k+) with a Pioneer plasma can play. Haven't have time to really see the video very well but from the first view it looks very good.
Have anyone else tried play AVCHD on other Blue-ray players or its just that the Sony player cannot read the mini DVD-RW or i should have tried with a Sony DVD-RW? Or did anyone used the dvd writer of sony to write and after that play on their blue-ray.
Next few days I hope to have a chance to try on the new panasonic XD5.
One more thing i seen some good reviews on the panasonic SD5 but i when i tried to play back on a 46inch plasma I notice there is a lot of noise (grindy). Was using a 512mb sd card. Was wondering that if i change to a 4gb HCSD will have any different. maybe my SD card is too slow.
