Hi Roy & Winston, i did think abt getting the converter but didn't go ahead with it. but i think for now, i'll try to learn more abt my digicam first.

Like what Azure said, i'd go for outings with u guys so that i can learn more abt my digicam and abt taking better pix.

Nope. I use mostly my Nikon CP4500. Once a while I play with my cousin's spare A70. Sometimes use Fuji S1 Pro (borrowed).

The C5050 is a great camera.
(I think it's aperature starts from f/1.8, probably the widest aperature, I have seen in a prosumer digicam)

I think you will have a great time learning abt it's features.
