DSLR recommendations..

haha gotta see if i can get used to it though! Gonna test it these 2 days. Really hope PC SHOW have it :)

Some other brands too have 600mm lens, not only Canon...eg AF-S NIKKOR 600mm f/4G ED VR:)

I rather have the 3 trinity lens than the above! And probably some spare change for a D700 body! :bsmilie:

We share the same dream...

We are the Nikon dreamers! :bsmilie: At the moment, 70-200mm VR II is my top-est of top priority of lenses, next the 14-24mm, whilst 24-70mm last (60mm Macro can temporary do the job for the moment - double tasking as a pure Macro lens and a 60mm focal length lens).

Looking at your photography interest, do set aside budget for your tripod set as well, unless you get a freebie tripod during your camera purchase & you are contended w/ it

Hard to reach? Heck, I haven't even gotten there yet... I was just dreaming about my future lenses! :bsmilie:

Btw, I'm also a newbie (about 2mths old perhaps)... so it's not hard to catch up with me! :bsmilie:

P/S: But first, I need to get a good tripod and a creepless ballhead...

I'm much simpler. A 14-24mm with a D700 will suffice.

Don't let my postcount (involved in too many TCSS) or join date (didn't get my D5000 until Dec 09) fool you ;)

Get canon.
Actually, this kind of things too subjective.
Most canon users will tell you get canon,
Nikon users will say Nikon
Pentax say Pentax...

You get the point. Why dont just go hold the cameras with your eyes closed and see which one you hold already feel damn shuang

im heading to Cathay Photo later to try out again, although Pentax gives me a good bang for bucks now...

anyway OT a bit, but do people post pictures they've taken with a compact camera?

Oh yeah I did! But since I've moved on to the DSLRs... I've forgotten what PnS stands for... Push and Stop? Erm... Pins and Sticks?... Erm...... :dunno:
