DSLR for shooting video

No need hint lar ...

A couple of them are:

Panasonic: GH3 in Sept (This one will be awesome if they don't make it hard to hack)
Sony: RX100, FS700, NEX5N/7 (Sony cannibalizing their own products but we all loved it cause they don't hold back like fking canon. Just look at 650D still having moire when they actually can solve it in 5D3)
Olympus: OM-D (This one with 5 point stabilization will remove the need for stabilizers if you are shooting on a truck/car. Its just that the codec abit unstable, awesome tele image, super poppy look)
BMC: BlackMagic Cinema Camera (Shoot in RAW + Outstanding dynamic range, 12 stops!, No more washed out overexposed windows if you are filming inside the house)

Just a few to watch out for ... 70% chance i'll switch the entirely gear within 1.5 years but only not sure to which one. Most prob will keep my 5D3 just for its FF look + outstanding ISO (if i didn't get the FS700)

I'm using the Nex-7 for videos and loving it!

Another question... How do i check if the camera are brand new or refurbished? I got an amazing-hard to believe price for 7d. I have a feeling its not brand new since it is from sim lim square. Haha.

worse place to buy camera body is sim lim square. Is your name Robert? don't tell me you don't know about sim lim.

If you're going to spring for a 7D for video, please do yourself a big favor and read the specs, reviews and price tag of a Sony VG20!
I know of at least 4 people who ditched their 7d after I lent them my VG20.

...if only Panasonic would build something similar interchangeable lens video camera base on m3/4 format at much smaller size and portability, without sacrificing video quality, with built in 128Gb flash memory (or SSD), expandable via dual SD card slot,..... with the availability of a plethora of m4/3 lens (some very video bias X and HD lens) ... would be a video cam nirvana.

That would be cannibalising their flagship AF102. Just an idea of the price difference between AF102 ($5000) and VG20 ($1700 body only) And to bridge the difference: Beachtek XLR adapter $250, ND fader: $90. Bonus: Bigger APS-C sensor in smaller body (VG20) vs smaller m4/3 in a larger body (AF102)

The only company that is willing to cannibalize their own products is non other than Sony.

Whatever u mention can only come from them. Other than small players like blackmagic of course.
