I think the camera price in the COMEX 2010 brochure is already net price. They won't give you additional discount. But they can give you more freebies, if they still have stocks.

go get it dude. price is good to buy now. oh btw, whatever the kit lens they've included now, use it for your initial learning curve. don't rush getting primes or zoom lens, only to regret that you don't need such range or large/constant aperture.

13mths on,still loving my D90.no regret. with battery grip,i handle it firmly well on my large palm. lenses...my oh my,they are 'growing' with blessings from my finance minister.

in the end,it's your call. btw, i don't see the link between firmware update and the cam's performance. just my opinion
