Dry Cabinet for Sony NEX-5N

Finally bought my dry cabinet from Funan. Digi Cabi ML30 (Digihub Singapore - Digi Cabi Moon Light Series) - a 30L cabinet to put the following items:
1) NEX5N
2) 18-200 lens
3) 18-55 lens
4) pancake lens
5) wide angle convertor
6) Sony DSC-T300
7) Sony video cam HDR-CX12
8) Video spot light
All these into my 30L small cabinet and still with plenty of space left! See pix below...

you should =) your gears are more precious than a 170 or 180 worth of Dry Cabinet with these last few weeks it's always raining Singapore humidity is really very high.

just convert one of your room to dry room =) another way always on your room aircon this will lower the humidy for sure =)
...and raise you electricity bill !!!

using the same way to store my cam...cheaper for me...throw one big pack of silica gel and let it do its job

i totally cannot understand the logic of NOT having a dry cabinet...
if u're just using normal PNS camera, obviously no need. the whole thing is sealed up and the chances of fungus growing on the sensor and lens is very, very low. its likely that your PNS will spoil before that happens and the cost of replacing an ordinary PNS is very low.
but if u're using an interchangeable lens system like nex, m43 or DSLR, its important. there are so much gaps, so much glass and our climate is so humid. PLUS such cameras + lens is expensive - up to $1k and above - if u invest in good lenses, thats easily another $1k, if not more.
what's so expensive abt spending $100+ to protect $1-2000+ of equipment?
for those who really do not want to get a dry cabinet, here's another suggestion and its free: just use your equipment frequently. that's another way to reduce the chance of fungus.
