First test of my new Sony NEX FS-700 camcorder with a very short walk around my block under a slight drizzle.
Equipment:
Sony NEX FS-700
Metabones EOS to E mount adapter II
Canon 35mm f/1.4L
Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS
Vinten Vision Blue + Kessler Kwik Release
Edited in Premiere Pro CS6, graded with Magic Bullet Looks.

Thanks for the positive comments guys Eleveninth said it right as far as price goes. I do use the metabones because it's been proven to have worked. The RJ one didn't have many reviews when I needed the adapter in my hands asap.

not to be a pain
but theres quite a bit of noise in the image.
is that prevalent in the prores or raw uncompressed version?

I added most of the film grain myself in post. You'll realise it's not the typical colour noise you'd get associated with high-isos or stretched blacks.

The FS700 does not do prores or uncompressed raw without extra recorders. There's a 12 bit 4k RAW recorder and interface that's coming out soon, and you can also shoot with all the other HD recorders available, but I shot the piece in AVCHD 24mbps.
