Well, 1 made me real pissed off this evening.

When the light turn green, I drove off and made a left turn. Half way through the turn, this pizza rider suddenly cut into the front of my car. My wife screamed, because the rider almost caused our car to give him a whack of his ass.

Lucky for all of us, there was no collision. My wife wanted to take down the bike's number but i did better, i took a photo of it.(i believe no offence was committed as my car was stationary when i took the photo when we reached the next junction)

Just wana rant ;(

At that moment I've thought of it and wanted also call KFC/PizzaHut office tomorrow (know some folks there), see how's my mood tomorrow

Normally I give way to Pizza, Fried Chicken and Burger delivery riders....I do not envy their job. But that's just me.

nothing to envy, their time is money, that's why they ride recklessly.

Which of course is not an excuse.

I'd rather earn less and live longer than earn more and live lesser.

I'm not a driver but i nearly got ran over by a delivery rider while crossing at a traffic light, they simply don't care if the pedestrian crossing light is on, this happened not once but twice.

It's not that I dont want to give way, there is no chance to give way when a bike just come speeding and squeezing right in front of your car out of the blue.

In a worst case scenario, if a driver hit a biker in such a situation, when in court, the driver will lose out even he didnt cause the accident. So who is the real victim is such cases??

May be i should really report the case to get the message to that rider, hoping that he knows what he did was wrong. And in the end, save him from future accidents.

One Pizza hut rider was damn hao lian under my block.

he simply rev his bike like nobody business.. on a rainy day !

I ignored him and carry on while i was walking back,

he then move on and make a 90 deg turn, very fast, and reving his bike engine,

u know what ? due to the wet weather condition, while he was making a turn, he slipped and the bike skid and crash to the curb, while he felled.

I laughed until like mad, thinking " BOO !." u want to hao liao drive yamaha R1, hayabusa ..

I once saw a macdonald deliver rider going against the traffic before.. freaking dangerous.

what's the use? it's one's word against another as TS's picture at most show the rider's face/bike/license plate but not a video/photo convincingly showing him in the act.

Quite a few years back, i was involved in a minor accident with another car. The other driver was obviously at fault but his insurer did not want to pay for my claim. I wrote to TP to inform them about the other driver's reckless driving, TP actually took action on the errant driver and eventually his insurer paid up.

Talking about errant bike riders, a couple of the riders rode down the opposite way in the multi car park. I met them them face to face the near the slope a few times due to their laziness to go the correct way. I made a suggestion to put up sign warning riders of riding against traffic in the carpark to the town council, but the idea was turned down.

no... not yet :bsmilie:

i both drive and ride. when i drive, i get more pissed off by fellow drivers than riders. when i ride, i also get pissed off by drivers. most drivers can't stay in their lane proper. most riders will ride in-between lanes to get ahead instead of getting caught up in the jam. i personally don't think this is wrong although one need to have good judgment when doing so. some drivers will tend to squeeze the rider or simply travel along the edge of the lane, making it impossible for the rider to ride through smoothly.

if they don't mind their car's side mirrors getting clipped... then continue to drive along the edge. i've heard of stories where fellow riders have clipped these side mirrors.

Pizza delivery person, taxi driver and some motorcycle, bicycle riders... well these people are kings of the road. They do not believe in safety and seemed to be too armoured to be hurt by mere knock by a car.:bsmilie:

Anyway when I drive, I always try to keep a lookout for these fools... and yes they might lead a hectic life... but that doesn't give them the reason to use the road like it was their own grandmother road, cutting into other's path so dangerously, riding on pedestrain crossing and pathway (yes, motorcycle too).

I get pissed off by riders who think the in-between lanes is their road. There is NO in-between lanes. By riding in-between they are overtaking and the onus is on them to hv proper lookout not barging the way through. Well some annoying even got the audacity to horn as if drivers should make way for them to pass or when drivers changing lanes they sound their annoying buzzer. I'm one who will deliberately drive along the edge so these annoying riders cannot overtake recklessly when the traffic is a crawl and they still zoom pass at 90km/hr:devil:

BTW, I did ever report reckless delivery riders to their company saying I have taken down the reckless act and will report to the TP and I did report to the TP many times against other drivers before:devil:
