Dream filter setup

Guys, just wondering if money is no issue, what would the dream filter set-up be? Lee filters or Singh-ray or mix and match.

Agree with Shizuma, when travel I usually attached the GND and/or CPL 100% of the time for outdoor landscape, there was once I broke one of the GND filter no problem just replace with another one since I had so many backup copy. The GND and CPL filter always help to capture many beautiful landscape pictures.

Since money is no issue to you, I recommend you both Lee and Singh ray. Buy full set for each of your lens and buy full sets for both brands so that one can be backup for another.

If pictures still no good just let me know I recommend you what other things to buy.

Got got got, as long as got money, want to support anything also can .

BTw also best buy yet another two more sets of each brand for your collection to keep in pristine condition. Got collection value as next time maybe nobody use filter already it can become antique.

Poor range ---> Tian Ya
Mid Range ----> Hitech or Cokin
High Range ----> Lee, Singh-ray

If you are not using wide angle lens, just a normal zoom lens, get tian ya 3 slot 85mm holder + Hitech Filter.

If you are using wide angle lens, get a 100mm holder with Hitech/Lee/Singh-ray filters

don't forget to buy some Heliopan, Rodenstock and Tiffen filters as well.

b+w nd110 for long exposures (not cheap). Tianya gnd for landscapes (very cheap). And a hoya cpl (affordable). I certainly won't spend more than $20 for a normal UV filter when it serves no purpose in the digital format.

Either will be great to use with minimal cast issues ( except on stacking )
Singh ray has their series of reverse GND filters

You can buy one of each type of filters. Since they all fit in the same holders you can mix and match. Buy different Brands for different types of filters. Getting a good mix can maximize performance and minimize costs to get the best balance that is suitable for your needs. And no one can tell you which ones to get, you really need to know what are your needs. For example the zone of graduation differs from brand to brand. For some people prefer lee soft grads, some prefer Singh ray... etc...

like I said, it depends on what you prefer. famous or not doesn't matter.
