Dream Car?

Dodge Viper

I've driven a Viper... that took any desire I had to own one right out of me.

I have three different cars that fight for my desire to own.
The 1959 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa stands out as a classic that I will always lust after.
The 1952 Alfa Romeo Disco Volante should have been made into a production car.
The modern day Caterham Super 7 is something that I might be able to afford after my daughter graduates from university.

No matter what car you drive in Singapore, there is a border not far away and many miles of back roads to the north to be explored and abused as well as private race tracks where you can really push your car to the limit.

ahh...I like this car but there is a problem with cornering at super high speed. They did a test drive with it on Fifth Gears ( cable TV channel ) it wipe out almost everytime they pushed it. They later modified it with a rear wing just to hold its rear end down.

But given the choice...I still would get the Buggati...hands down. The only other choice I would like is the latest (finally confirmed) MB Mclaren SLR "convertible"!

It is a killer car though the Koenigsegg...definitely better then that ugly over the top Pagani Zonda with that stupid looking 1970s Batmobile Exhaust pipe. heh
Bugatti Veron is a beautiful beast as well but i would still place all my stakes on Koenigsegg. Mclaren SLR use to be my dream car until this came out.

Just imagine, Christian von Koenigsegg is only 35 plus years old (founded his company at the tender age of 22). Koenigsegg is fairly new and he is making great head waves around Europe. Volvo and Ford of course help him a lot as one supplied the wind tunnel and another the engine. What else can he possible created?

Do you watch Top Gear....? I think it's one of the best and funniest car show on earth......all the British jokes. I watch every episode.

I will pick Maclaren F1 in/Ferrari F40 my dream over Bugatti. The reason is both of them is the raw car.

heheh Don't get me wrong I still love the Koenigsegg especially when it first got started. :) I remember being mesmeried by some of those online picture of the cars internal stuff...heheh titanium this ...carbon that....wah! heheh

Yup I love Top Gear for along time now and also Fifth Gear though not as tougue in cheek but those presentaters are really very competence drivers themselves like Tiff Needlam and Vickie and so alot of the stuff they talk about is actually alot more real then the over-the-top but very funny Jeremy. I take nothing from him too he is good though abit more bitchy hahahah

If money wasnt a question....

Bugatti Veyron for the weekend
Mclaren-Mercedes SLR722 for the even weekdays
BMW M5 for the odd weekdays
and a Scania K124EB6X2-470 for the family outing :-)

OT:Fifth Gear is sinking down episode over episode in my opinion.Living without car is just plain dumb.Make some more related to speed stuff. And don't pick an A1 car for top speed.

Funny... Looks like Dream Car = Fast Cars huh?? Then why is it that no body dreams of the VIOS?? Remember the Class 95 Joke? It's the fastest car in S'pore, cos every corner you turn, you're behind 1 VIOS :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

For me it'll be the VIOS...!! Not gonna let the government "tahn" my money (either in the form of car insurance/ road tax...):bsmilie: :bsmilie:

OT a bit,

I was driving last night when suddenly I heard a loud roar behind my car (right side), at first I thought it was one of those sports bike, but, hey no, it was a red Ferrari.

Wow ..i thought "you can over take me anytime, I don't mind!"

Just felt shiok to hear the engine/exhaust roar, POWER man....

dream car?

A Mclaren any time, world's best super car yet "practical" everyday. (claimed by the designer, to build a practical supercar)

Porsche Carrera C4s for something that is super fast but practical (can fit golf bag) and be can parked nearly anywhere in Singapore. I pity those poor Bugattis, Lambos and Ferraris that can only be valet parked..

Unattainable: Mitsuoka Orochi.

Reasonable: Humvee

In addition to one of these exotic cars, I'd wish for free road tax, insurance & parking. But wait long2x.

You can still buy the cars. Just don't register them and you don't have to worry about road tax, insurance & parking anymore.
