They annoyed me enough to make me plaster their names everywhere I can find.
Here's my experience with them:
TaoBaoNow.com is another one of those services that purchase from TaoBao.com on your behalf and forwards the item to you. However, their service is absolutely terrible and I strongly discourage anyone from trying to use them in the future lest you run into problems like me.
I ordered a bunch of items from them and paid them a substantial amount for it. The items arrived after 2 weeks and I realized I was sent a bunch of imitation Levi's jeans instead of some (camera related) stuff. I had to spam them with messages, emails and threaten to reverse the charge before they finally responded to me. Guess their solution? I had to somehow coordinate with the guy who received my items myself and sort it out between ourselves. Wasted time and petrol traveling, but fine, since I got my items right.
Wrong. There were missing stuff in the package that was obviously left out by the packing stuff who didn't check correctly (I'm sure the guy who took my stuff didn't take them, they were useless junk to most people and he didn't take the much more expensive sets of memory cards). So according to their website, they will process refunds for items that were not shipped. Guess not, they decided to ignore all my attempts to contact them again and since they have actually shipped something out (imitation Levi's jeans) to me, Paypal will obviously use that as proof of shipping and not reverse the transaction.
Easily the worst online shopping experience I have ever come across.
There are loads of good deals to be found on TaoBao.com, especially with regards to 3rd party camera stuff, but be sure to use a good 3rd party site to order on your behalf, or be a victim like me!
