Using the old Glidecam 4000 with my Sony Z7. No body harness rig. Pure handheld. Will be too clumsy with a harness for run-&-gun weddings. Combined weight is almost 7kg I think. Running with it always make me look like a clown, brides sure laugh.... until they see the footage that is... haha...

Have tried the Merlin for such running shots, doesn't work. Too sensitive. Easily affected by wind resistance (perhaps tat's why Merlin footage is best for slow short-distance tracking).

What about the Glidecam 2000? Cheaper but compare to your Glidecam 4000 good a not?

2000 and 4000 are for diff cam weights. Glidecam 4000 can balance cameras of a higher weight. My Z7 needs the 4000. The 2000 one can't take Z7.
