Welcome!!! Love to have the D60 there :)
How big is the 460 printer?? Can fit easily in backseat of car right?

Anyone has transport to offer?? Looks like we need to transport the printers & ironing board..

Any more volunteers?? especially for printers.

I can offer transport and I use the E-10, but got to go by 7.30 pm.

I can try to get a bunch of frens to help out if there's a need

-If required I can contribute another Epson 810. Transport needed. Best paper so far for this printer as experimented would be Epson 4R Photo Paper. Remember to plan for failed prints and time beforehand to calibrate monitor to prints.

-will we be meeting before to do a dry-run or 'rehearsal'?

-by the way, willy: u can sense the config of my notebook? haha its wrong but nvm lah.

Ok.. there seems to be some issues related to printing of namecards due to misrepresentation... looks like we will have to do away with namecards...

Maybe what we can do is at the back of the photo holder/envelop/folder we can put a line like

"Brought to you by the volunteers of http://ClubSNAP.org Photography Community"

Other volunteers needed

I'm thinking of putting the 4R prints in cards/envelopes, like zoo/jbp. Need someone to come up with design, print & production. Costs will be reimbursed. Any volunteers??

I think we should also acknowledge the photographer who took those shots. Can someone volunteer to design a simple 1 sided namecard that shows humbly

### Volunteers ###
* Note: Not a confirmed list yet, we may not be able to accommodate so many people

Willyfoo (sonyF707, notebook, printer, driving)
Violett (notebook, printer)
Tomshen (D60)
Yeppie99 (notebook, epson810, transport needed)
Klause (notebook, not confirmed, if he can make it)
Kamwai & GF (D30, USB CF reader, GF can do photo editing)
Bluestrike (D30)
Jethro (e10, driving, leave by 7:30pm)
Keito & Friends

### Overview ###
4 notebooks will be connected via wireless LAN to a wireless base station. I have only 3 wireless clients (2 pcmcia & 1 usb). Does anybody else have 1 more to contribute?

The 2 printers will be connected to my notebook & violett's notebook, the other 2 notebooks can print through the network.

I'll try to see if we can connect the access point to a phone line to dial up to the internet, then while we're there, we can showcase clubsnap.org & send the photos immediately to those who wish to 'purchase' their photos.

There is going to be a dog show first before the photo taking... we'll be shooting the event. As the photographers come back with their CF/SM/MS etc etc, one notebook will choose the good shots and another notebook will run a slideshow of the good shots. This will allow people to see the nice shots which they would like to print.

While the printing queue is not that long and we have access to the internet, another notebook can browse through clubsnap.org to show the forum. When the queue gets long, then the notebooks will go back to editing/printing.

Hilo Willy,

How the progress going on now?
Maybe we can meet up, let say this Wed at CP, and disscuss the thing? It would be good to get everything in order b4 going down to the actual event.

If poss, maybe all those involved can make a trip down?

willy...have u got my PM ar?

Got your PM.. sorry at work... no time to reply..
But just a quick one..

SICC has a charity committee which raises funds and annually, the committee decides which organisation to give to... off the calf, I recall I was told 1.8million last year to 60+ charities.

Does that answer your question?

Hi all,

Just a question, Should I put 'Photographer" on the pass or 'volunteer photographer??

Is this design fine??

:dunno:

Looks good for me. No need to put on 'volunteer' IMO.

how about 'official photographer'? 'photographer' seems like someone on hobby purposes there.
