Does your dreams have colour?

I usually dream in colours and sometimes its B&W. And I dunno how many of you have experience the same episode happenning sometime later in real life. I often get this type of dream during my younger days. now less of that.

eg, i dream of something very simple like accidentally bumping into someone in my dream. and sometime later.. .usually about a few months later, the exact same thing happens and the colours of the shirt the person is wearing is exactly the same. Am I looking into the future? Though this is Kopitiam, but I'm dead serious about this. not a makeup. And this type of dream happens countless number of times. Once is about striking 4D and it happens in real life 4 years later.. haiz.

that my friend is called Déjà vu . Not be alarmed, you are not alone in experiencing it.

I had mine, too bad all mundane stuff, nothing about striking 4D. :bsmilie:

Have you ever felt the future is the past, but you don't know how...?
A reflected dream of a captured time, is it really now, is it really happening?

Don't know why I feel this way, have I dreamt this time, this place?
Something vivid comes again into my mind
And I think I've seen your face, seen this room, been in this place
Something vivid comes again into my mind

All my hopes and expectations, looking for an explanation
Have I found my destination? I just can't take no more

The dream is true, the dream is true
The dream is true, the dream is true

Think I've heard your voice before, think I've said these words before
Something makes me feel I just might lose my mind
Am I still inside my dream? Is this a new reality
Something makes me feel that I have lost my mind

All my hopes and expectations, looking for an explanation
Coming to the realization that I can't see for sure

I only dream in black and white, I only dream cause I'm alive
I only dream in black and white, to save me from myself
I only dream in black and white, I only dream cause I'm alive
I only dream in black and white, please save me from myself

Phew.... What a relief. I thought I was the odd one out. Have to sleep more so that I can dream of winning Toto 1st prize soon.

dun remember whether in color or in b&w, but usually with some vignetting

If you watched the movie Matrix, they have a scene "explaining" the occurance of Déjà vu, it happens when the mainframe computer that is connected to brain suffers a glitch. :bsmilie:

That's what someone told me, he was quite serious when he asked me about it and I think he had done some research but I never paid too much attention and this was 7 years ago...

I believe my dreams are in B&W. I cannot really remember if my dreams have been in colour. Never really thought about it until this post, so it was the second time someone asked if my dream is in colour.

Hmmmm very interesting! Must do more research into this.

My nightmares when I was a kid were in colour... But somewhere along the way, I seemed to have stopped being able to recall my dreams. So I don't know about now.

anyone heard of lucid dreaming? a lucid dream is a dream in which the person is aware that he or she is dreaming while the dream is in progress. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucid_dreaming
you can check out this motion film by richard linklater "waking life", a very intriguing and deep film.

I get lcuid dreams quite a bit, many of my friends don't have it at all. They think I'm joking.

Best way for me to get out of the dream? Jump out of a window from a tall building! Don't ask me what happens if it turns out one isnt dreaming in the first place.

Yup. had it before. Because I was aware that the things happening are too out of the world :bsmilie: But oddly, there was no desire to want to wake up. Just go along for the ride.
