does canon wp-dc48 for g15 come with strobe connector?

hi all, i am considering between this housing or the cheaper meikon one. i would think that the canon housing has better button control for half press focus.

i saw some websites showing the black plastic ys strobe connector while others dont mention it.
does anyone who own it knows if they come together? would prefer this method of connection as previous experience with velcro dont work out very well.

The WP-DC48 doesn't really comes with a 'real' Strobe connector... more of a plastic cap than snap on to the casing at the flash level....

Personally... I didn't have any issue with stick-on Velcro before when I was using PnS...

would like to pay less for the housing to keep budget for other items being a novice. May i ask what is the significant diff btw the meikon and the WP-DC-48 other than price. lol

Hahaha... 1st mistake younhave to learn NOT to make....never ask for a recommendation without stating your budget... you want non Canon casing for G15... sure, Ikelite is good ($650 USD)... Nauticam is better ($1050 USD) :bsmilie:

But I think.... what you are looking for is this - NB Housing for Canon G15 - $210 USD (about $270 SGD)

The advantage in using the NB housing is that you get the 67mm threads on the housing already. So if you are planning of using wet lens, this might be a good option as compare to the OEM housing.
