Mt Machapuchar is sacred to Hinduism; not Buddhism. So it's not the answer.
 

My bad; yes, K/R is also sacred to few other religion including Buddism. But somehow I can't find sites tat tie K/R to B-O-L-L; can u pls show me the link?!

Anyway, let me provide another clue:
The answer is found within the great Himalaya-Hengduan mountain range.

Sichuan is not near Mynmar leh, only Yunan is border with Mynmar.
Anyway, there's only a handful of 6km peaks in Hengduan mountain range... should b easy to find the correct answer.

haa, I was looking at this list List of mountains by elevation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and of course I did see it is not in the range you stated.
Seems like there isn't anymore contender for the 6-thousanders unless you are referring to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain which is in the 5-thousand range?
Then again, wiki might not be right all the time or there might be missing peaks.
