no cheap alternatives:cry:
put a red rubber band on your lens and "pretend" it's L.

lol
no i meant that i have no other alternatives for wide angle lenses
except L lens![]()
Can use Fisheye 15mm...is a non L lens.
For most of us Singaporeans its psychological that we want the best (even though we clearly will not utilize it to its full potential). If you can break out of that mindset, there's no reason for choosing a ridiculously expensive L over a value-for-money 3rd party pro lens.

so I guess those who can't afford L lenses can only stay at home and take pictures of their toes then.......
that is also my view and i am happy that you are the minorityThats really just your view on it and it doesn't represent the majority.
lets face it, everyone WANTS an L lens, its just human nature to want the best. but don't forget that proper metering/exposure/composition skills and good knowledge of Photoshop can give you as good a picture taken with non-L lenses. sometimes when i look at the prices of L lenses, they cost as much as a brand new mid-range DSLR body! reality check. then again, being human we overlook that and its the build quality/optics/results that count.
