Hey people, why write so many about this issue in Clubsnap thread ? will your writings improve any or create any impact to it ? maybe it does create awareness in some..

However, if u really want to be heard or raise it as an issue of concern, write to Straits Times, Mediacorp, MOH or even talk to your MP in the " Meet The People " session .

Don't u think this is better ?

It is pointless to write to newspaper. I have written several times to ST. Very few get publish.

Why discuss so much on tis?
So wat if u r rite n he's wrong?

End of the day, a life is lost n system needs to be correct tat's all.
Let move forward and start donating blood for those who can ;)
Sad things happen everyday.......but instead of help to solve it n doing wat we can to avoid such things, we just like to find who's at fault tat all.........

there was another interview with the poor guy on news earlier, anyone caught it? What was it about? I didn't manage to catch the segment. :(

feel bad for the family, condolences...but why does something like this not surprise me.

either
someone is lying
someone is covering up
someone is not reporting everything

seriously, why would the poor fella show up with people to donate blood if he wasn't told to? furthermore, the blood they would have donated would still need to be screened so what was the point of all of this? it's not like they would have had a hose that went from them directly to her? so what was the rush? it makes no sense for the bloodbank, or the hospital tell this man to immediately get people to donate...agree?

truely, none of this makes sense and the most convenient thing to do is to say the woman dies from something other than loss of blood or the like. now, whether blood is really an issue or not in her death may not matter. however what should matter is that this should certainly wake everyone up to demand to know exactly how the system works regarding blood use.

How about "The poor lady died from a complication of a high-risk condition."? Just because you don't understand the parlance doesn't mean it does not exist or that there is therefore a cover up.
