I was there today buying film (for a friend) and got totally ripped off.

They DO NOT entertain refunds or exchanges as soon as your $$ is handed over. I was back to the shop within 5 mins and they stated the above as their policy.

This is the price they quoted:
Fujifilm Neopan 400 120mm at $14 per roll
Fujifilm ACROS 100 135mm at $16 per roll

IT IS RIDICULOUS! please spread the word around to fellow film photographers.

You should have quoted prices around city hall area or ask someone else instead of buying impulsively.

I bought my D90 kit from them. One of the cheapest around when first launched but they tried to push for filters and lens which i reckon that they will make up the "lost" from the D90 kit. I did not take the offer in the end for lens and filters.

Besides the point of a ridiculous price, they do not entertain exchanges or refunds once bought. and they even screamed at me!!!

it was more of I bought the wrong ones (120mm) and went back for an exchange 5 mins later and they didn't allow any exchanges or refunds.

yes yes, didn't do my homework on the price. but they didn't even allow me to change for the 135mm ones? now that's ridiculous.

I only realised the prices later...

Most film users in the area would get their films there instead.

if yes , then this shop the price can bargain provided you did your homework. I bought my bag with price matching the cheapest quote I gotten.

edit : I nv thought they will sell at my asking price, so I keep insisting to shop around first, the price got lower and lower and finally to my asking price =P

how much is the normal price for neopan and ACROS that he bought anyways, i don't think they are cheap either.
