what type of shot are you after?
Shooting people (distance?) with/without ceiling to bounce?

Come home must make effort to PP soon-ish, otherwise photos get stuck in the memory card too long

You can't log into CS so freely, so spend the free time to upgrade your iPhone, and also go out and shoot

If you find cloud harsh, the gary fong one will be harsher because it is clear.

BTW are you using it correctly? It can only be used effectively indoors.

mostly indoor shots.. hmm.. gd qns.. not very sure if i'm using it the correct way.. maybe i need some shifu de guidance..=D
I didn't shoot direct.. its mostly bouncing off ceiling.. and the ceiling most of them are not high.. to add on, i'm not using 50mm prime. juz normal 18-105 kit lens.

i think use a big piece of white cardboard or plastic as a bounce card will be nicer. You need a large source of light to create a softer effect. The big bounce card can mimick a large source of light to a certain extent. Better than lightsphere anyway, IMHO.

yup if you're up for some DIY, find a material that doesn't fray or anything. Perhaps a white plastic sheet is ideal.
cut 2 small holes and pass some elastic band through it. Finish!
Find a practical compromise between large size and ability to carry around in your camera bag

My mini version is an old gold credit card which I made the 2 holes and sew some elastic band through.

The gold surface makes the light slightly warmer, but basically I couldn't find a white credit card... :bsmilie:
But credit card is too small IMHO. Also looking for suitable material.

its white and not so thick.. but then its kinda of small though..

You mean the inner sleeves of a CD wallet?
Or the material for CD jewel case?
