Yeah but the first photo didn't quite do the place justice though. My subsequent search in Flickr turned up FAR better photos :)
Especially those of Mt Hood

Should check out photos of Banff in Canada. Wow...

I know, I'm only happy that more people know of that place now... :bsmilie: With that small column, you can never squeeze enough nice images...

Canada eh? In due time, lad... right now my mind's wondering when I'll do a business trip back to South England once again... The last time I was there, I didn't make good use of my time - too rushed and not versed in photography... Too bad their retired the hovercrafts... I'd have loved to try those noisy b*st*rds across the channel... :bsmilie:

Dun try too hard... it's over! :bsmilie:

It's like a business, you start, you maintain, you innovate! ;)

Yeah, but... What was the purpose of the thread (assuming it was something other than the blatantly in-your-face title)?

I can see what you mean though. Some of the places look simply breathtaking.

There was 1 photo in Flickr quite funny. It was brilliant seascape shot. The guy wrote "wish I could say that I trekked 10miles to get this shot, but truthfully it was just 10yards from the parking spot" :)

People who knows, will come know. If it doesn't concern you, it won't. Simple as that. :bsmilie:

If the mods want to delete it, so be it. It shouldn't be encouraged anyway... If they don't delete it, I will do it soon. :)

This is the beauty of it... and for the most parts, IT IS like that! Whatever you've seen from my pictures (of course I haven't posted all of them), my feet were never sore... only my bum for driving from place to place... :bsmilie:

It is the one and only place (in one state of the 51) that you can never run out of places to go to to shoot landscape of all forms...

Sounds mysterious. Ok will just leave it at that.

After briefly browsing through some of the photos I do get what you mean. Lots of variety...

Of course, there maybe other places that I do not of, I guess it up to everyone else to share their experiences (I haven't seen all anyway).

Yellowstone NP is another... variety and in one accessible spot...
