In the past we keep albums...because there were no harddisk big enough to store images (let alone, a good enough scanner to scan them in...:bsmilie
Actually when you're there, no need to find any of them... just drive along the road they will come to you... All of the above are taken very near the road - dun even need to trek for miles... unless you want to go down to the sea level then yes... but too many to take already... damn rush if you want to cover the entire coast in 2 to 3 days... :sweat:
I've only shown bits and pieces of them only... not even close to 5-10% that can be seen if you're there yourself...
Oregon coast is well-protected...you got $$$$$ you can't even buy beach front property there.. Unless your house happened to be built well before the protection law has been passed. And from what I was told (from someone who once lived there)...you can only hand it down to a 1 to 2 generations... after that, it goes back to the state.... That's why you hardly see any new houses along the coast... unless it's in a coastal town...
Please don't be mistaken, I'm not trying to show off what great photographer I am... on the contrary... my photos do the place a GREAT injustice of what it really is... :cry: If any of you happens to go there...please do some justice to that place...

Trying to restore some of the colours... ZCA you've asked me about how it was like... the above is roughly 4pm... During sunset it would have been glorious.... see how the distant mountains (not hills, really mountains) fade into the horizon.....

Nah lah... it's snappy snappy only... you guys would do better! That's why I wanted to take up photography seriously, so that if one day I'd come across such nature once again... I'd be ready... Yup, my wife.

This is one area I'll never forget... standing really high above the area (you can see tiny dots with long shadows at the bottom left corner - a couple and an individual) over looking what feels like the edge of the world... without a hint of civilisation...
I was short of breath when I felt the entire expanse in front of me... No need drugs to feel high man... mother nature is more than capable of that... :bsmilie:

On evilbay it can be gotten as much as US$11XX leh... Not a very exp lens...Photozone has pretty high rating on it also - sharpness wise.
The only problem is... it's 1440 grams... :sweat:
