Q10 models are bigger than what me/ZCA/Chillicrab have... but smaller than M10/M20s... I think those are better suited for heavier-than-D90 DSLR bodies with long zooms...

Traveller, you get the smaller compressed base and shorter clamp knob - space saving. Emile, wider (and nicer base) and longer clamp knob.

so the traveler suits the more compact series of certain tripod models, thus being able to close the tripod legs properly...
