up to you bro, just my honest opinion, as usually track will be well lit up, and races are always held in mid day, seldom at night except for the case of F1....

as for shameless marketing, u need more than just gears to impress thats for sure, u need a certain backing from certain ppl, and works to prove, and thats another whole long story to even talk abt...

Akerue!!!.. how can you recommend D3!!... Kriegs - either D3s (like Akerue) or wait for D4!!.. remember D3 dont have sensor cleaning... u dont want to end up like one idiot!!..

Kreigs - BIG committment!!... think.. think.. think..

WhiteFields - we have not met.. I was at Labrador Park for a social BBQ event that evening as well.. If I know u.. would have said hi.. and YES.. not a very good sunset that evening.. but your shots are still nice ..

i recommend D3 bcoz of value for money and its still works, plus the price for second hand is way cheaper.... not that krig cant afford dont get me wrong, the money save can get other stuffs... and he can always get the D4 later on and go for a two body set up....

Lets just say it is more than a commitment...

Drew this when I was a teenager, aspiring to become a future car stylist... but sadly, given my background, I was unable to fund such a dream... Hence I had to give it up and go take up a more realistic route instead - computers and programming (which was very new then)...

The amaturish attempt above (of the many designs) was fully marker-ed on cheap-skate paper (no $$$ to afford the expensive vellum paper), no Photoshop back then... It is still in one of my folders today, you can see how browned the paper has become...

So... shooting auto races is probably re-living that dream once again... (well, sort of)...

Wah bro... this line of thinking is very dangerous leh... Like no end to upgrade thoughts like that. Ok la. If budget allow for D4 and you think it will be put to good use, ultimately it's your decision.

Amazing for a teenager!!... live YOUR DREAMS!!!!.. BUT be sure to have enough for a rainy day.. that is my thinking.. I think I did see a D3 second-hand in pennisula for $4K.. Akerue has a point there as second-hand D3 is friendlier on the pocket..

ZCA :thumbsup: Cool Mind.. I guess you can BUY many, many camera for price you will have to pay for D3s/D4.. will the picture be many, many times better... I am not so sure..
