You didn't see me carrying the Heineken when we met up with you guys at Orchard? Kena 'poisoned' by akerue hehehehe willing participant.

wah little bamboo cannon is indeed fast. But your 80-200 still pretty decent.
I found it funny that you guys were taking posed photos with the long lenses... wah the working distance  sia... 35/1.8 FTW!!!

Bro, I wasn't even sure why I brought the 70-200mm also... :dunno: All I know was, Jacobs asked me if I was bringing - so I said yes - coz I thought he's going to bring his. Probably going to do some test shots with it to see how the bokeh goes, etc. Then, ClementC asked if I was bringing coz he wanted to test it out, so why not since there's more than one reason...

So, since I've brought it already, why not use it anyway? I did a number of family shoots with the bamboo. :) Yes, working distance is horrible but what the heck - better to use it than log it around on my back as a dead weight...

Then, of course, Akerue did use it for some provocative shoots like this one:

(right click on it if it doesn't work)

All in all, it was worth bringing it along... I poisoned Clement, Akerue had his "fun", me gotta test it out with my family shoot...

Next time, I'm bringing by 60mm for sure! The minimum focusing distance of this lens is one of the closests in the entire Nikon range! Hahahaha!

HOW MANY TIMES MUST I REPEAT THAT I'M GOING TO USE THIS LENS FOR SPORTS AND MY KIDDIE SHOOT AT SCHOOL HAR??? Hahahahahahaah!

FTW bro! As of now, I don't even feel tired on my shoulders (probably because I held the zoom instead of keeping it in the back... but I did attach my 1.5kg tripod/ballhead on it plus the UWA and other barangs in it.

But if I did have the zoom in it, still manageable - the shoulders will be protected from fatigue due to extra buffets in the padding...

MAI TU LIAO!!!! :sweatsm:

Now that you can't afford to buy your dream car... I'm pretty sure you have much excess left for other things (repairs and extras all well covered...)

:o
I can buy a brand new one for less money :nono:
D90 kit is now <$1400 (would you believe it...), and can sell off the 18-105 for about $280-300....

He's probably looking for some carrot head. :bsmilie:

Some people will actually try to make money when they sell. If not, means the seller is allowing the buyers to negotiate and the higher price acts as a buffer.

Previously I sold my monopod brand new and still in box, I put $70 firm, still got people offer me $50 or $60. Singaporeans ah..... Moreover, CP retails it at about $160-$170

That's why I'd avoid BnS entirely... Before buying consider long and hard. If buy already, don't have to worry about reselling it coz you'd want to keep it as long as you like too. Of course, that's just my take... If wanna handle BnS, no issue wad... just dun entertain those nonsense offers loh! :bsmilie: Treat them like invincible dung flies... :bsmilie:

Now Akerue has poisoned me silly with the D3S...

That's why yesterday I posted two weights... If you guys haven't figured that one out already, it's between two FX sets...

D3S Versus D700+Battery Grip (to boost 5 FPS to 8). Surprisingly... D3S weights 200+ grams lighter than D700+BG...

Expensive no doubt, and I surely haven't been prepared to go all the way out for FF... But heck... time to save up from now to mid next year!
