should we try to fill up Jeezuinn's slot for the studio outing, or just leave it to the remaining number? I would be ok if it's someone we know who joins in, like scuba, jacobs, etc... but no point to open up to other people just for one slot.

that's coz we were 'forced' to take some leave after NDP and before going off to Brunei. But kinda 'bo liao' leave. After some siong prep training in Singapore, then take 1 day leave. Go home also crash on the bed.

Tt's the way! Take leave to sleep. Use weekends to be happening. Haha

1) National Day prep. Weekends burnt.
2) Keep going overseas for training. Also weekends burnt. Go Brunei no R&R so got some off days.

instead of a rotating ring for zoom (or was it focus??? :dunno, the 80-200 'push-pull'
employs a push-pull mechanism to achieve the same thing. If you are familiar with Tokina's Ultra-Wide angle lenses devil, this push-pull concept will be familiar. Tokina uses it to clutch-unclutch the Auto-focus, instead of a switch on the side of the lens.

ZCA pretty much sums it up. Btw, there are basically 3 flavours of the durian you've just mentioned.... the Push Pull (first version), non push-pull (rotating ring for zoom, another ring for focus, second version), and the AF-S version with Silent wave motor built in (defunct model, last version)

Second version is still available in some stores as new set.

haha im only curious.. cus tis set selling for 700... lower than the uwa, although i know both lens have very diff functions..
the AF-S is a defunct model? not the newest?

AF-S is actually the latest model... but made defunct, I think becoz (I think KRW mentioned) Nikon didn't want it to compete with the 70-200mm f/2.8 model... Dunno how true... BnS occasionally pops up with this flavour. Although the price is about 1.3 to 1.5-yish... (Brand new AF-D, second version) is around 1.6K... Me and ZCA has seen a set at Cathay Marina..
