Well, 50 1.8D should be easy peasy for you... so which one do you want to get first? 35 or the 85? For me... I probably won't crave for the Nikon 85 G... Since Sigma's already not bad... ;p I don't mind a second handed D model though... Need to have some archaic look'n lens instead of always the latests... :bsmilie:

i kind of agree and disagree on this, IMO its better he hoot the 150-500 or 50-500 by sigma be it the OS or Non Os version, rather than the Nikon 70-300vr.... more reach, the same variable aperture type of lens, , be it a stop slower on the tele-end i think, but since krigs, been mentioning, he needs more than just the reach, he also need a lens to handle low light shooting, and the need to clear the fence... hahahha... 70-200vr2 plus telecon... is the way to go...

All boils down to when I get really hooked up with birding... for the time being, it's for future references only.. ;p Besides... 70-200mm can still fit into my 60L cab... 150-500 / 50-500 not sure about those bro... :sweat:

Just checked...50-500 APO is about 219mm... 70-200 II only 205.5mm... have to measure later... :bsmilie: cab is going to be REALLY cramped once the II hits home...

Now iPhone cheap cheap only! Nothing compared to 70-200!

Think about it this way. When you get the 70-200, your dry cab will be cramped you say? In tt case, get a BIGGER dry cab. At the same time, get an iPhone as well. Tell your wife it's so tt your son won't be stuck on the PC all the time. :bsmilie:

Well, I've a very controlled expenditure... only one item at a time... be it phone, TV, PC or lens... spread it over the entire year! Last month was the flash gun...

No lah, 70-200 can still fit nuggly in my cab... can remove the useless filter boxes that I so callously dumped into it. What I'm saying is if in the future I need a longer zoom... then cab sure no more spare real estate already... :sweat:

well, i might just go for the 85 1.4 again , actually i had the 85 1.4D, but sold off to a friend of mine, that time i keep think zoom for flexibility, and i can always use the 70-200vr1 for portraits too, as time pass by, i realize im actually more comfortable on prime...

well, i might just go for the 85 1.4 again , actually i had the 85 1.4D, but sold off to a friend of mine, that time i keep think zoom for flexibility, and i can always use the 70-200vr1 for portraits too, as time pass by, i realize im actually more comfortable on prime...
