huh that one not printed copy le. is they test trial the d7000 with kit lens ma.
jpeg anot i dun noe.
but of course own trial v impt too :p

Bro...I was refering to the subject that was being shot.... the printed card of the 24-120 VR f/4!! Is it not printed material??

don't need battery grip la... I got some mild steel plates can use rubber band and tie to underside of camera :)

Or I can drill a nice countersunk hole and screw onto the tripod mount....

You don't mind scratching the base of the DSLR body isit? :bsmilie: Even so... how to look "pro" with all that rubber band and stuff?? :bsmilie:

Actually, you have a point about using the MB-D80 for shooting portrait modes - easier on the right arm without flapping like a chicken... Never thought about that until you mentioned it, otherwise - no use to me...

Ah, clearer now... Btw, if you plan to get the 70-200 (either version), chances are you'll need the MB-D80 battery to balance the D90... one selling for ONLY $150 at BnS a few days ago! SOLD!... But don't want to rush leh... coz dunno when I might switch to D7000.... (that one using different external Bat...)

same here. will not get the battery grip yet.

but i dun think i am getting the d7000 anytime soon. getting married next march. dun wan to spend the mola now.

btw if u need extra push to get d7000, go try using d90 and shoot in RAW mode only. then switch to burst mode.
see how fast can d90 go. haha i am sure after that u want to change :p

Bro... i've been shooting RAW since day one. :) And I already know how fast D90 can go...

Captured this while machine-gunning the D90...

D7000 is only going to be marginally fast (as compared to slower D90)... D300S is faster...

well, it depends on what your motive for the batt grip is. So far I can think of 3 uses:

1) increased weight (better balance)
2) longer batt life
3) ergonomic grip in portrait orientation

If your motive is only #1, then a simple metal plate (same weight or more) screwed into tripod mount will achieve the same thing at a MUCH lower cost. Maybe < $10 :) I was kidding about the rubber bands by the way :bsmilie:

My needs will be met by 1) and 3) for sure... When shooting kid, I used portrait mode often... given limited room for shooting my elbow might knock into other peep's face... :bsmilie:

Ah yes, sorry for being too caught up with the discussions... CONGRATS are in order... soon, no more openly beo-ing XMMs for sure... :bsmilie:
har....? cannot meh...?

aiyoh... like that better to be single :D

Of course can lah!!! Provided you don't mind incurring the wrath of your partner... Wait next time I see you, it's like seeing the natives of Taiwan or some outback country - ear long long with big hole... :bsmilie:

Noobcake: the shot of esplanade, how come all the lights dotting the river so starry one?

nicely capture. but isnt that so much slower then using jpg?

btw u bring ur d90 tml?
if yes maybe i will bring along too. want to test the "speed" of our d90.
cause it could also due to the SD card speed

btw u using what lens for this shot??

Probably is, but I still managed to get the images I want leh! The above is just one of the few I've managed to get good... The power of RAW is that I could tweak it until I happy happy... never regretted that! FPS 4.5 I believe should be based on shooting RAW's speed.

Yes I'm bringing... will wanna test whether my Markins PG-80 plate can fit to D7000 as well or not... And probably need to get generic arca-swiss plate soon (before the session) or else cannot adapt to my ballhead...

Use smaller aperture like f16 or f18 if using kit lens. Will have starburst effect.
