They will be teaching about shuttle speed, aperture basically.

most things can self-learn through simple experimentation.
But sometimes classroom environment is quite conducive as well. You're "forced" to learn, in a sense...

i still dun exactly grasp the minimum focal distance concept. aperture i agar know... shutter speed the only thing i think i know is, if taking animals, boost iso and up the shutter number so that it'd be fast..
errr.. think i really dunno alot.. :x

i want to.. but... eh now i think maybe i can! my cameron trip fully booked! so i can go tcss! but cant stay late on 4th... lemme chk with hubbs..

haha i've 35 1.8f and 11-16 next in my list... dun poison me further.. :cool::cool:

MFD I think is the minimum distance you must have so tt you can focus on your subject, regardless of using AF or MF. Aperture is the 'hole' tt lets light in, bigger the f number, smaller the hole, lesser light going in for same amount of time.

Shutter speed faster can freeze movement. Faster shutter speeds also let lesser light through.

All these is my understanding ah. If I'm wrong, please let me know. :)

We all start from that point lah... then slowly slowly experiment and then pile up on the knowledge lor.... Frankly I'm still learning and I'm sure a great many of us here also.

Minimum FOCUS distance right?

sometimes its the grains that makes the shot looks good... of course not all, but some.. :)

wah!! spoken like a pro while i am still trying to make use of "grain"
