You start business online, you get money rolling in... ;) Simple as that, then you decide if you wanna spend on ebay items / shops that accepts PP. But be careful, $$ easy come can also easy go. Excercise self restraint, otherwise no different than using a CC.

hmmm.. i don't quite agree.. sometimes it's just the opposite..

how so? Care to elaborate?
was refering to 1st part, when did 2nd part pop in?

cos i use to have friends that start a business during poly an end up money rolled
out instead of rolled in.. sometimes really need the X-facetor or luck to be
successful in business.. :)

I think he only doesn't agree with the first part (you edited your post right?)...

sometimes when you start at online business, all you see is red ink... :)

Oh yeah, of course not all businesses will work. But once you've found a niche that can be covered, it will work. I'm all for world market, local market too small already... For world market, even if you have a very small niche, it is already a good size. But not always easy lah... pros and cons to any kinds of business.

It depends on what kind of business lor... some business do not need too big the initial investment. Everything boils down to what do you know about the business you're going into... A lot of research as well as a lot of dare... Sometimes you do loose some, whilst other times you gain much.

I must be lucky then... I see blue the minute my products rolled out.... The harder part on my end is more of maintaining the survival of the business against competitors...

Edit: sorry if it sounds braggy... but that's how it went. Not always easy mind you, world economics will play a part on your world market. If Sg is doing well, I don't get to enjoy the benefits...

Firstly, it is not that BIG a business - enough for me that I don't have to work for other people. So no need to think the grass is greener on my side. Yes, it's OMO, have considered roping in help, but not easy - a lot of things to consider. I take risks, but I'm afraid I'm not that big a risk taker..

A lot of effort and passion involved, technical know-how already required. And then you have to negotiate with the distributors/traders as well... No holidays for me, but you can take a holiday any time and ignore the business (and the repurcussions of doing just that!).
