For smoothing out waterfalls yet short enough for people to keep still? Or is it better with 2-stops?
Forgot to mention I got ND400. Kiasu bought this then realized it's too dark. Camera can't focus. Every time need to screw off filter to focus. Damn sian![]()

Don't know for you, but it is essential for me.
Have not yet acquired my "range" of filters. I believe DD123 doesn't bring them all to each outing. But rather you anticipate what you'll need, which is easier if you've been there before.Do you carry a range of filters, then decide which to use based on the metering?
how come?? :dunno:
tell her to buy u the 28 or 35mm then u get t11-16 lor
haha
hahhah.. cause she rather I take pictures of ourselves than the place.. lolx..why leh? She is going to buy you the 11-16 as a gift right?![]()
Now I truly understand why there is a need for BnS section...

Actually I bring the following with me for morning shoots:
ND8
GND4, GND8
Big stopper, 10 stops... meaning= ND1024
CPL
And decide on the spot, which filters to use, or not at all.
Can!! When both of you go Taiwan, take out the 35mm and shoot... go really close to her and shoot at f/1.8! And then show us here... Our immediate response will be... "Wah! Nice portrait! Clean and sharp! Where did you shoot this? Changi beach?" :bsmilie:
Edit: just kidding lah, if you really got only one choice...then go for the 28mm! FTW! Wide enough for general scenics, yet good enough for portrait... best of both worlds.
